Days are getting longer, the autumnal equinox was last week. 1-ply lace weight grey wool from the Jakobsdal woolen mill. I made it slightly shorter, only about 30 cm instead of 50 cm. The designer is my talented friend Erika. Who is an expert at finding the beauty in simple things. I need to wrap myself in grey wool.
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This post is so overdue. Our youngest son, Richard Leif Erickson, graduated from Bemidji High School at the end of May 2015. Leif passed his Certified Nurses Assistant exam the Monday after graduation. He also received his certificate for Personal Care Attendant on June 29th. He plans to pursue a Registered Nurse degree. We are so PROUD of him! Here he is shown with the quilt the ladies of our church made for him.
